We stayed at Lions and Lanterns for 5 nights and had a WONDERFUL experience! The room/bathroom was beautiful, super comfortable, had all of the necessities, and felt luxurious. We really appreciated the recommendations we were provided with after we booked/the day of check in; they did not disappoint! It was super convenient to be able to text Josie and get a quick response if we had a question or needed anything. There were lots of little conveniences such as an umbrella outside our room for rainy days, access to beach equipment, card games, etc. We wish all hotel/b&b stays could be this awesome!

Stayed here for 5 days while flight training at the nearby airport. This place was only 2 blocks (3-minute walk) from the start of historic downtown. Each room has its own private entrance which added to the exclusivity and feel. The hosts/owners are very warm and hands on. You'll love the decor of each room. Highly recommend!

The owner (Josie) of this beautiful place is the nicest host you could ask for! Each room is uniquely designed and has fun special thoughtful touches throughout! I personally felt like a queen during each of my stays! Highlights included: cozy bath Rob, unique showers & luxury bathtubs, soft comfy mattress, pillows, and bedding, Friday night movies under the trees with lanterns, coffee, tea, and honey in each room, and the list goes on! Staying here will make you feel like you walked into a hallmark movie! 😊I promise it won’t disappoint.

We stayed in the Pax room for one night to see the holiday lights and it was so lovely and cozy! The website says it is the owner's favorite room and I can see why.The decor is beautiful and you can tell they've really put a lot of thought and care into making it special. There were two decks of relationship conversation cards which is a neat activity and adds to the romantic feel of the room. The location is on a quiet street and walking distance from everything we wanted to see. The owner is so sweet and very accommodating. We will certainly be back.

We spent the night here on a one day spur of the moment trip to St. Augustine to see the Nights of Lights. I didn’t tell my S/O we were staying here and I have to say, she couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. We stayed in the Fort Mose room and it was absolutely spacious, beautiful and romantic. We never had to take the car anywhere. We walked to the downtown shopping and walked to breakfast and dinner. Very convenient location and so much nicer than staying in a standard hotel. Will definitely stay here the next time we are in St. Augustine for sure.

Wonderful! I stayed in Firme. Checking in was super easy - your code is sent ahead of time and there’s no desk to visit - and the room was in perfect condition. Very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed. The location is excellent. It’s close enough so that you can walk to downtown but far enough so that you are not disturbed by the hustle and bustle. I would love to stay here again on my next trip to St. Augustine.

Such a perfect little spot! We stayed in the Pax room for one night while visiting to see the holiday lights and everything was wonderful. The room looked just as beautiful as it does in the photos. From the decor, to the towels, to the coffee setup - so many small details that were very thoughtfully designed. The host (I believe I was communicating with Josie) was super responsive to my texts and incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cute spot near downtown!

We had such a lovely stay at Lions and Lanterns! We stayed in Pax and it is a beautifully decorated room, you can tell great care went into designing it. Josie was an exceptional host who was warm and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants/bars in the area and responded to text messages very quickly. The location is walking distance from everything we wanted to do. Lions and Lanterns is the perfect place to stay for any occasion. Highly recommend it, we look forward to returning again some day!
